Social growth and academic preparation program continues reaching young girls in Tucson.
Tucson, January 10, 2013: As part of our national initiative, Eta Epsilon Omega is growing young leaders through the Emerging Young Leaders Initiative. Nationwide, this signature program is impacting the lives of 10,000 girls between the sixth and eighth grade. Here in Tucson, the chapter holds sessions monthly at the Frank and Edith Morton Clubhouse, located at 3155 East Grand Road and sees nearly two-dozen girls a month. The EYL program provides leadership development, civic engagement, enhanced academic preparation and character building. Chapter members conduct workshops and activities in a classroom setting and include everything from peer pressure and self-esteem to sustainability and leadership.
